Alibaug is a town in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. The Alibaug beach is the main beach in the town which is quite a popular beach for planning beach holidays in Maharashtra. The beach here is very neat and tidy and ideal for a long walk along the seaside. The sandy beach with coconut trees lined up enhances the beauty of the place. This temple is made up of many other small temples dedicated to many deities and it also has a special tank with sweet water in it which forms a special appeal of the place. If one has a little more time to spend then a visit to the Kashid beach near Alibaug is a must. The beach is covered with white sand and is the cleanest beach one has ever seen.

There are many other places that can be visited by the tourists here which include the Shitaladevi temple, Vikram Vinayak temple, the Karmarkar museum, the Magnetic observatory and the Korlai Fort.

This place can be visited during all seasons; however, the monsoon season adds more charm to the beach. Other than enjoying in the beach the tourists have got many other things to do as well like enjoying the local food and exploring for special gifts in the markets nearby.
