Sonipat is also part of the larger Yamuna Ganga flood plains and is covered with fertile loamy soil which makes it have a mostly flat appearance, barring small mounds and hills. Sonipat is a great place for a picnic spot and people from all over NCR come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of a metropolis.
